I'd like the help from those on this list with my most significant literary project ever.
Since last October, I've been writing "GLOBAL SENSE, Practicing Personal Democracy on Homeland Earth", my update of Tom Paine's "Common Sense" for these modern times that try our souls. I intend to publish the work as an ebook at my site on February 14, 2002, the 226th anniversary of Tom Paine's first signature edition. My thinking in this work has been evolving for years, but I NEED FEEDBACK FROM BETTER MINDS THAN MINE. I'm following Paine's structure and logic. Wherehe called for liberation from kings and hereditary succession to gain a national democracy, I'm calling for self-liberation from despotism itself and our primal authority addiction to gain personal democracy and responsible self rule. I'm voicing practical idealism. I'm working to inspire realistic hope. I published a 3/4 draft of the ebook on January 10th, which was the anniversary of Paine's first anonymous edition (he feared a backlash for his outspoken ideas). I'm making this draft available free to anyone who says they'll send me productive feedback on the writing and flow of ideas no later than February 8th, just in time for me to integrate your insights before final publication. The ebook is in pdf format, designed to be printed out (100 pg) and read almost like a regular book. In thanks for your help, I'll give you a free copy of the final ebook next month.
