Here are a couple interesting distros I want to check out but have not as of this time.
Arch Linux http://www.archlinux.org/ Arch Live CD http://chakra-project.org/ Arch Linux interests me because they seem to be rather bleeding edge for a binary distro. Also they have excellent docs and I am always coming across them when looking for information about packages or stuff on Gentoo. NixOS http://nixos.org NixOS was mentioned to me by someone in the #firebird channel on freenode. It's a radical new approach to system layout and configuration. Which looks very interesting, and seems to take a very simplistic and minimalistic approach. Also a binary distro, but doing things in a new and interesting way. Further clarified by examples on the NixOS about page http://nixos.org/nixos/ -- William L.
