I have become the de-facto administrator for an EMC CX3 system. I added a
new tray of drives today, and wonder if anyone can give me some pointers on
how to activate this storage, and add it to what's already there.
I'd like to NOT stomp on the existing data on the finely-humming system.
I can get to Navisphere and see what's out there, but am not -really-
certain where to go from there, and I'm probably a bit over-cautious because
of the need to preserve the existing data; storage management isn't my
strongest suit.
The arrays are used by a RHEL box -- there's my Linux tie-in.
Happy to take it off-line; TIA for any suggestions. Off to Mister Google,
now.
