Responsibilities Due to expansive growth, Zanett is seeking Linux System Administrators for our Jacksonville, FL location. These would be Entry-level positions; full-time permanent. Zanett offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. This individual will provide first level technical support to Linux servers and associated applications. Responsibilities include - Abilty to install, configure and upgrade Linux, Unix, and Windows servers in a Shared Services environment. Ensure performance, stability, and recoverability of these servers. Configure security and perform regular auditing of servers. Set up and maintain documentation and standards. Requirements The ideal candidates will have: * 1-3 years Linux and system administration experience. * Good written and oral communication skills. * Ability to work in a high performance team and assume individual accountability for Projects; Previous experience w/ Oracle Database Management software is a plus. Required Skills: * Linux/UNIX - administration and monitoring – currently using Red Hat * Remote Deployment * Backup administration Preferred Industry Skills: - ERP consulting industry, professional services firm experience. Educational requirements: Bachelors degree in Information technology, computer science, engineering or related degree.
