That sounds good too. If anyone can also discuss server mgmt topics
in Linux, for beginners like me, day to day common things thr come up,
this would be great since I am an aspiring Linux sys admin.

How about a how-to potluck of implementing OSS in a Windows

If possible, what could we do to make an install fest or Lan Party
happen? Also, currently in my Linux class, we are learning about
Bash and perl scripting. I would like to hear maybe a topic
dealing with perl and scripting.

Next meeting is a few weeks away and we haven't a presenter or

October yet. Anyone have anything in particular they are
interested in,
or exploring and care to present on?
Also looks like an install fest in October is out. We could still
try to
make one happen. But hasn't seemed to be to much interest on
list. Would
be nice to have some organization and notice for any install fest.
Though we can always do an impromptu one. Its up to the group to
decide
and make it happen :)

While I don't know perl, I have written a few bash scripts that
could be discussed. If I get this unixodbc crap working I'll be
glad to present on it!
