That is most likely the case, but not always. Sometimes crappy or lower end equipment can deal or handle problems better than really good gear. Usually that comes from things not being up to the same caliber all around. Like for example, if the other end of the drop is coming from a Cisco, then it would be shocking to have problems or issues when terminating in another Cisco device. Short of cable or other issues in between A and B that should effect anything plugged in. If another device is feeding a Cisco and a Cisco is having issues, usually a reason, related to hardware or quality. But not always :) -- William L.
