Pretty interesting and I was not aware of that. Not sure if it will motivate me to leave DD-WRT on existing installs. But moving forward, probably will just stick to OpenWRT, or if I can full blown distro. It does bring to mind another company that I don't think is violating the GPL, but there is no way to know for sure. Because they are one of the most closed source companies I know. Who's products and solutions the world uses and depends on in many ways. Their motto/philosophy is do no evil, but with closed source, how do we know there is no evil taking place :) Now I have not reviewed all FOSS code in existence, but I don't recall seeing to many commits from @google.com accounts. Why is that I wonder? I highly doubt they are not using and customizing FOSS stuff for their needs. But is very much an assumption and borderline conspiracy theory material, acknowledged! -- William L.
