Timing is rather interesting, as I was Googling 2.7 and 2.8 the other day. After realizing that dd-wrt and some micro distros are still using and shipping 2.4 kernels. Only came across speculation for 2.7 and 2.8. I guess maybe 3.0 might have turned up something a bit more.
But lets see 20 years to version 3 of the kernel. Makes me wonder what kernel version Microsoft is on for Windows ;) -- William L.
