I have a test laptop with various Linux, BSD, and Windows partitions loaded.
Yesterday one of the two 2GB ram sticks went bad not allowing the laptop to
boot. Once I removed the bad ram the laptop could boot into all the Linux and
BSD partitions without a problem. The Windows partition though is stuck in
"resume" no matter how long it sits there. Without reloading the Windows or
taking the drive out to delete the
hiberfil.sys file does anyone know a way to "reboot" the Windows partition from
GRUB or another method of resolving the constant state of "resume" when trying
to boot?
