fdisk -l   came up with nothing?  not even "command not found"?

what does your prompt look like?  Is it a $  or #  ?

after the meego password, what does the "mount" command show?

please post your results back to the Jaxlug list as well.  perhaps
there are others with more experience with the meego than me.  ( I had
to google it to find out what you were talking about).
