If you are willing to meet me at Exit 1 at the Georgia Welcome Center, I would very much like to go and split expenses. This is the easy part. The hard part is partitioning the drive for a Dell laptop in order to install Linux Mint. With GParted and a PC its pretty easy, but my experience with laptops is very little. And yeah, it sounds like there's no point in going without bringing a laptop or something comparable. Hugh
