I did a lot of research and tried many solutions, and it has worked very
well for me. I have email for 8 domains hosted there.
Here's why:
o Best spam filtering available
o Best web interface available (IMO)
o Great web-based admin tools
o POP and SMTP are available (and encrypted)
o No ads or taglines in outgoing or emails
o It's free
o It's reliable
o It's fast
o It's relatively discreet (this email was sent from Gmail for my domain)
o It integrates well with other Google tools like Calendar (of course)
Downsides:
o It's still technically in beta. It's possible (though not likely)
that it could be discontinued or that they could start charging for the
service.
o Per the terms of the Beta, you are only allowed 50 email accounts
(unlimited aliases) per domain.
o It integrates well with other Google tools like Calendar (some
people shudder to think of a commercial entity having access to their
emails)
