Hello, since the dawn of the IOS 5 we are struggling with syncronization issues. For now we have a policy in place to deactivate the iCloud backup on the devices.
I was thinking of implementing some limiter shaping, but I am not quite sure what the best way would be, also, how to apply to the iOS devices? Is the OS check for rules reliable? But then, I only have MacOS here, and I do not want to catch our Macs ... DHCP Differentiation? I don't want to have to put a client-identifier on each and every iphone (especially I do not want to touch the personal iphones used here ...) Not sure about penalizing the IP's of the iCloud service, as maintaining a list of these IP's could also be tedious ...
