Hi,

I have setup a simple aDSL line and used a D-Link DSL-320B modem in order to
connect It.
This modem will be used as a backup line.

My modem is setup as a bridged.

When I connect my computer to the ethernet interface of the modem, I am
directly assigned the Internet IP (public IP).

When I connect my pfSense box, all interfaces are up but I got no DHCP leases
and no IP assigned !!

So far I have tried the following :

• crossover cable
• changing MTU
• manually releasing and reseting DHCP

I have also tried to setup the interface as PPPoE (which doesn't really make
sense since I have already a configuration that's up and running when I use my
computer with DHCP).

I am totally lost and don't really know what else to try…

Here is the output of the debug :

> Jul 4 17:43:09 dhclient[14925]: DHCPDISCOVER on em1 to 255.255.255.255

One thing that I have noticed and which might be of interest :

Both the SDSL and ADSL link are on the same subnet !! (yes, I know…).

Any advice will be welcome !

Thanks.
