You could make DHCP reservations for the people you want, and put those
in a specific range. Then use the traffic shaper to define how, and
when you want to restrict the traffic.

Just wondering how others have handled this in the past.
I want to broadcast to about 40-50 devices (pc/tablet/phone for the
most part) I want mine, the wife's and perhaps a few other family
members to have full speed, and not blocking torrents, streaming etc...
Now... for the other users I just want to give them a fairly basic
connection... I only have a TOTAL of 3Mb down 1Mb up to share so its
not a lot to start with, and I want the hogs to be slow down if other
users are on... if they want to download overnight that is fine.
Thoughts?> Or a how to?
