Hi !
We're running a clustered pfSense (2 Machines x86) and it runs fine. Yesterday i updated to the 2.1.1 release and since then i contstantly receive "Carp cluster member has resumed the state "BACKUP"" mails. This has never been an issue before. and the cluster does not change roles since the master is still there. BACKUP server na not been MASTER. First i updated the backup machine then the master machine. The logs on the BACKUP machine shows: Apr 8 16:10:50 kernel: lan_vip2: link state changed to DOWN Apr 8 16:10:50 kernel: lan_vip2: 2 link states coalesced Apr 8 16:10:50 kernel: wan_vip1: link state changed to DOWN Apr 8 16:10:50 kernel: wan_vip1: 2 link states coalesced Apr 8 16:10:50 kernel: opt1_vip3: link state changed to DOWN Apr 8 16:10:50 kernel: opt1_vip3: 2 link states coalesced Apr 8 16:10:50 kernel: opt2_vip4: link state changed to DOWN Apr 8 16:10:50 kernel: opt2_vip4: 2 link states coalesced Apr 8 16:10:50 kernel: lan_vip2: MASTER -> BACKUP (more frequent advertisement received) Apr 8 16:10:50 kernel: wan_vip1: MASTER -> BACKUP (more frequent advertisement received) Apr 8 16:10:50 kernel: opt1_vip3: MASTER -> BACKUP (more frequent advertisement received) Apr 8 16:10:50 kernel: opt2_vip4: MASTER -> BACKUP (more frequent advertisement received) Does anyone have similar symptoms or has any knowledge what could cause this ? regards, martin
