Hi there, Occasionally, I’ve had my firewall pair failing over different segments of the network for no obvious reason. It’s often incredibly transient now, but initially, the problem I was having to do with carp packets not being passed properly between built-in ports of my cablemodem for the uplink carp addresses.
discerning this issue was complicated by my inability (totally putting the blame on self here) to discern the underlying problem, and having a hard time finding out how to dig deeper. I was hoping to find a way to increase the logging verbosity of carp, as well as get a better picture of carp behavior by increasing logging…. but I’m finding myself a bit stumped as to how to do so. :/ Might anyone have the time to point me in the direction of a clue?
