Ron, all I am saying is that with the way things have changed, for example,
when I went back to college OT was the up and coming field to get in
to.........by the time we were in our second year, things with managed care,
and re-defining OTR and COTA roles, the job market in MA. at least, seemed to
take a nose dive. Our professors encouraged us to look to the community and
develop new and creative ways to find ways to promote OT any way we could. We
define how OT can fit into other areas, and we have to impress potential
employers the unique properties OT can offer. It has to do with doing the
best you can with the profession you love, even in uncertain
cicumstances........Donna
