I don't know why to post in English in Spanish support list, but here is my knowledge on this matter. There is no easy solution for this. One escenario is when you already have the data in your GPS. You will need to connect your GPS and manage the stored data with gpsman then you will need to use gpsbabel to convert that data into something useful as Gramin propietary data is not widely interpreted. As far as I recall for this specific unit you will not need special drivers included in garmindev. Another scenario is when you want to use live data from the GPS. For that you will have to look into gpsd and probably depending on what are you intending to do gpsd-clients. I tried with one etrex venture hc ... play with it for a couple of weeks and then I got a Nokia N900 with linux and gps in the same package, so I get rid of the venture hc. Hope this hints help you.
