Google asks you to adhere to the W3C's Web Content Accessibility
Guidelines if you want to make sure your pages are accessible
(and thus, rank better on Google Accessible Search). I wrote a

Ok, I must know... what do red links in the search results mean?

And I take a little issue with this:
"Currently we take into account several factors, including a given
page's simplicity, how much visual imagery it carries and whether or
not it's primary purpose is immediately viable with keyboard
navigation."

I would say "simplicity" might be missing the point... after all, this
is Google, who think their "simplicity" of search result pages is
accessible enough.
