I totally agree.

I forgot about pop-up blockers. I thought it was not that black and
white but this thing may be annoying. DonĀ“t know how many uses these
blockers, and of course it is easy to disconnect them, but anyhow,
rather than doing it more efficciently it is a slower way of
presenting information. Not a new clean window, but a popup as banks
do.
