Hi all, I wound my doctype back to html 4 transitional (remember html 4? Man, those were the days..), validated the code, removed some errors (the Google Mini output code is less than semantic, to put it mildly) and now IE7 and FF render the page in strict/standards mode.
IE7 now doesn't honour the * html hack, just like Chris Wilson said it wouldn't :) Now all I need is a fix for IE7 to get the font-size correct....
