Is that a rule, Marilyn? Edward said any rule that you make for yourself (including this one) is foolish for nothing
is constant and cannot be true in every experience. And I say, if your word is good, you could be no good. For example, suicide bombers keep their word to blow you up. They all do. And Charles Manson is the same old crazy guy and not any different now. Can you make a good cup of coffee, Marilyn? I need to believe that after 7 years with Edward, you are not beyond redemption. ________________________________ From: marilyn meadors <marilynmead...@hotmail.com> To: edward <ewjo...@cox.net>; Yiming Zhang <yiming_zhang2...@yahoo.com>; listening-l@zrz.tu-berlin.de Sent: Mon, May 30, 2011 9:03:31 AM Subject: The secret to life Shakespeare said being true to yourself would not allow you to be false to any person. Edward says that speaking truth of yourself to yourself is the secret to life. Ediward also says "if your word is no good, you're no good." I have looked at looked at statements about truth for years now, and I see that giving your word to yourself impeccably, keeping true to yourself, is the doorway to the secret of life. If you do not first value your word to yourself, it will have no value it to any person. Keeping your word becomes the utmost treasured thing in your life, for when you give it to yourself you will do whatever it is that you say you will do, and you will not do what you say you will not do. This action alone could solve all of our problems.
