Here in Ramat Beit, there is a young family with little children that
needs our help in many ways. Five months ago, the intelligent young father
had a sudden heart failure, died, and was successfully revived. Today, he
is more or less physically healthy/normal, but unable to take care of
himself as result of attention and memory problems. He needs to be escorted
where he goes, wakes up late, and can go from being very intelligent to
forgetful and less than fully coherent.
His wife is physically not well and fearful of nervous breakdown,
though
a very capable women. The problem is they are not getting support from the
community. I am working on that. WHAT CAN YOU DO?
1)he needs a ride/escort to Har HaZofim Hospital twice weekly in mid or
end morning--his wife is
notified which days on Yom Rishon, but it is usually Shani and Riviee.
2)chesed girls to help his wife with the children and in the house would be
a big Mitzvah to help keep her sane. I am speaking
literally--truly--because I am sure then, at least the women readers will
understand the true gravity of the situation. We are speaking about a
family who have little or no support system
