[NTSysADM] Trusted sites question.

I have an issue where an internal site needs to be in IE’s trusted sites, but 
an external site cannot.  So can I put the url     trusted.elyrischools.org     
 into trusted sites and not impact         
www.elyriaschools.org<http://www.elyriaschools.org>
