In DNS, I do see SRV records for the old DC, still under DomainDnsZones and
ForestDnsZones (specifically, under the _sites/_tcp ). Under
DomainDnsZones/_tcp, I see SRV records for both demoted DCs. Similarly
under ForestDnsZones.

It was my understanding that this is OK, and I don't need to remove these
records. Dnslint /ad shows no problems, or references to the demoted DCs.

Could this be my problem?
