Manual COs prevent the KCC from managing the topology. Your recollection is
correct. Delete them

Subject: [spam] [dkim-failure] [NTSysADM] No automatically generated DC
replication links

This is odd. My boss had to change the IP of a DC in one of my sites (he had to
move the DHCP service to a different server, and rather than edit the "DHCP
Helper" setting on every Cisco switch, he decided to just swap IPs).

That went OK. Except ... in Sites and Services, for this re-numbered DC, I
don't see any automatically generated links. There is a manual link to a DC in
another site (something we probably set up a long time ago and forgot).

Anyway, how can I get new links to automatically generate? I have this vague
recollection of deleting any existing links, and then they will automatically
generated, at next site replication. But I haven't found a web site to verify
that.

Thoughts?
