This may not be an issue right now, but unless your SQL Express is at least 2008 R2, the limit is 4 GB (it was increased to 10 GB with 2008 R2). Depending on the OS and SQL version, you may have to think about migrating to the Windows Internal DB, which I think is the recommendation for WSUS due to the limits of the Express DB.

It is assigned by GPO, and it is getting the right GPO, and the proper settings are being applied. Yet, this one client does not show up in the WSUS console at all. (WSUS 3.2.7600.226) The client knows it's supposed to talk to my server; I did a /resetauthorization and /detectnow, and the client log seems to indicate that everything is applied correctly. 2015-09-21 09:52:21:985 744 8bc Misc =========== Logging initialized (build: 7.9.9600.18039, tz: -0400) =========== 2015-09-21 09:52:21:985 744 8bc Misc = Process: C:\Windows\system32\svchost.exe 2015-09-21 09:52:21:985 744 8bc Misc = Module: c:\windows\system32\wuaueng.dll 2015-09-21 09:52:21:985 744 8bc Service ************* 2015-09-21 09:52:21:985 744 8bc Service ** START ** Service: Service startup 2015-09-21 09:52:21:985 744 8bc Service ********* 2015-09-21 09:52:21:985 744 8bc IdleTmr Non-AoAc machine. Yes, I have refreshed multiple times, and have waited 45 minutes or so for it to show up. There isn't a limit on number of clients, right? I have 162, running on a locally installed SQL Express DB that is 3.5G in size, at the moment.
