My apologies. Having one of those days. It works with the 100% option. I forgot to fix some VM detection logic so it was trying to diskpart twice.

Either that or I'm not using it correctly, but it looks pretty straight forward to me. I used your task sequence steps and then added an additional partition that would use 100% of the remaining space and it resulted in the "ZTIDRIVERS: Path not found (76)" error again. I guess I'll have to just create it manually after deployment. -Brian From: Klish, Brian Sent: Wednesday, October 14, 2015 9:10 AM To: '[email protected]' <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Subject: RE: Custom partitioning in MDT 2013 update 1 I misspoke. I should have said "don't use the % option for the Recovery partition". -Brian From: Klish, Brian Sent: Wednesday, October 14, 2015 9:01 AM To: '[email protected]' <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Subject: RE: Custom partitioning in MDT 2013 update 1 Ok so basically don't use the % option for the Windows or Recovery partition. I assume I should be able to use the 100% of remaining space for drive D: though and just put it as the last defined partition? I'll give it a try. -Brian From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Johan Arwidmark Sent: Tuesday, October 13, 2015 9:42 PM To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: [MDT-OSD] RE: Custom partitioning in MDT 2013 update 1 I added a diskpart script action later in the task sequence to solve that problem. Download a ready-made task sequence (CM01) for MDT 2013 Update 1 from this link: http://deploymentresearch.com/Research/Post/509/Hydration-Kit-based-on-MDT-2013-Update-1-and-Windows-ADK-10 / Johan From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Klish, Brian Sent: den 13 oktober 2015 20:15 To: '[email protected]' <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Subject: [MDT-OSD] Custom partitioning in MDT 2013 update 1 How do you create a custom partition with MDT 2013 update 1? On physical servers I want a 50GB Windows partition and the remaining space to become drive D:\ and give it the label "Data". I had it working in the last version of MDT, but the changes to partitioning is a bit tricky because of the recovery partition. Here's what I tried and what makes sense to me, but it's breaking the deployment. Sorry the UI won't let me expand the window so I had to squeeze it in. [cid:[email protected]] -Brian
