It has been very well received. The public version of the script being demoed has a private version that has been modified to work with View 4.x and 5.x. I can put you in contact with the person in charge of the project if you want the private version. Private version has not been through full QA/QC which is why it is still private.
At this time, full VMs are the only supported option which, to my great surprise, is what 90+% of the use cases have been. I have submitted a plan and proposal to work with linked-clones but so far, there has not been enough customer requests for Citrix to fund my proposal.
