We are using the upgrade task sequence to get more people upgraded. We do use serviceui.exe to display the setup.exe in Windows because if a device is not compatible it will hang, displaying the window allows us to see the incompatible device and take care of it.
The upgrade takes care of bitLocker suspension, has no reliance on ADK or PE, and is easily reversible. The slightly annoying thing is in Windows 10 all of the task sequence steps are completed at the black windows is upgrading screen which makes it look hung at 100% depending on how much you are doing after the upgrade. Secondly, for those of you looking into moving to Win10, or even better, have already moved, did you opt for a wipe and load or an in-place upgrade of your workstations?
