Hello Everyone, I'm having an issue on a few machines that started with them having a broken client. Doing a re-install or repair gives me the following snippet in CCMSETUP.LOG:
*File 'C:\WINDOWS\ccmsetup\WindowsUpdateAgent30-x64.exe' returned failure exit code 1812. Fail the installation.* I tried to do the install with the '/skipprereq' switch but couldn't get it to work. I also tried to update the WUA manually and it seems successful but if I look at the 'wuauserv' Service it states the following: *Failed to read description. Error Code: 193* If I look at the Windows Update shortcuts in the 'Start Menu' and in the 'Control Panel' they are completely broken and do not load. I verified the WMI Repository and also did a 'sfc /scannow' which found corruption but could not fix it. Imaging the machine fixes the issue of course, so I can do that for a few of these but just wondering if there is a way to fix/repair the issue without doing this in the future?
