2012

I just confirmed the same works on my end - adding user as a full admin in SCCM
rather than by AD group.

Warren - this seems like a bug to me since this was not the behavior with 4.0.

The need for Full Admin in and of itself seems like lazy development to me.
This poses some challenges for operational use of DCIS in my environment.
Application guy may not be full admin, therefore he cannot create and import
Command Configure packages. OSD guy may not be full admin, therefore he cannot
import driver packages.

Thanks,
Eric

Had similar issue as Eric, with DCIS v4.1.0.360.

(launched console as an account that is a member of Local Administrators group,
the account is a member of an AD group that has "Full Administrator" SCCM
security role assigned)

However, when I added the same account directly to "Administrative Users" with
the "Full Administrator" SCCM security role assigned ... no error as per above.

Note : This is on Server 2012 R2, ConfigMgr v1511.

The same issue did not occur with DCIS v4.0.0.273 ... only with DCIS v4.1.0.360.

Cheers,

Shane

Launched console as Admin, and with Full Administrator SCCM security role and
still getting this on any of the Dell console actions:

Best course to open a ticket with Dell support on this Warren?

Installed 4.1 in my lab site successfully. However, every entry point within
the console - CAB import, Configure package import, new TS from template all
result in this error:

If you saw our demo at Ignite or MMS on automating all of your OSD drivers from
within the SCCM console and are wondering when it will be available. It's
here.
