does the pc have enough space on c drive which you are setting ? if there is 
not enough free space, changes revert to previous.

I have a technician who is trying to set his ConfigMgr cache size to 30720. 
When he restarts, it reverts back to the default 8120. I’ve tried to replicate 
this on a couple of my Win10 machines, but I don’t have the same issue. Are 
there any logs I can check?
