Put it on the same box Freddy. Most people do. My understanding is that the license covers System Center "related" databases. WSUS certainly is that. I'd also use it for MDT for example.

I asked this question on TechNet a few years ago when I was preparing our environment but didn't get a straight answer so just put it on a separate server.
