You asked if there was a way you could download the 10586 build. I thought you were looking for the ISO because you couldn’t do the upgrade via WSUS or WU.
That said, yes you should be able to get the Enterprise version upgraded via WU or WSUS. I’ve done it on four Windows 10 machines running Enterprise that are domain-joined, so I don’t know why you’re having issues. I don’t think the Media Creation Tool is appropriate for Enterprise, but I’m not sure. When you say it won’t upgrade, do you mean it fails after starting the upgrade, or do you mean that you are not offered the upgrade? This is beside that point, but the four Windows 10 machines I mention are behind WSUS, which is behind a TMG Firewall. WSUS wasn’t able to download the bits because of a known issue with TMG, which MS apparently has no desire to resolve. I needed to use the option to “check for updates from Windows Update” instead of WSUS in order to do the upgrades. *From:* listsadmin@lists.myitforum.com [mailto: listsadmin@lists.myitforum.com] *On Behalf Of *Eric Levinson *Sent:* Thursday, February 18, 2016 4:25 PM *To:* ntsys...@lists.myitforum.com *Subject:* RE: [NTSysADM] Windows 10 Enterprise - not able to get current build So I can only get this update from the VL page? Funny my other two systems got the update to 1511 through the Windows Critical Update option. In the Description field for Windows 10 Enterprise, it says this: “There are two downloads available for this Edition: 1. Windows 10 Enterprise (Released Jul '15) 2. Windows 10 Enterprise, Version 1511 (Released Nov '15)” When I click on the Download link from there, I see the RTM ISO as well as the one for version 1511. I do remember when this first came out, that others saw something different on their VL pages, so YMMV. *From:* listsadmin@lists.myitforum.com [mailto: listsadmin@lists.myitforum.com] *On Behalf Of *Eric Levinson *Sent:* Thursday, February 4, 2016 1:35 PM *To:* ntsys...@lists.myitforum.com *Subject:* RE: [NTSysADM] Windows 10 Enterprise - not able to get current build No, this is a volume licensed version we got from MS. A few weeks later I was prompted to upgrade to build 10586, which it did. A few weeks ago I installed Windows 10 Enterprise on another system. It installed 10240. It will not upgrade to build 10586 – not sure why. I downloaded the Media Creation tool, run it and it says “The language or edition of the version of Windows currently installed on your PC isn’t supported by this tool” Anyone know what the issue is? Is there a way I can download the Windows 10 Enterprise build 10586? Thanks, Eric
