I am not dealing with the issue myself but it was raised by an associate. I just learned it only impacts certain Dell models when you don't use UEFI and instead deploy in legacy BIOS mode. Dell is supposed to be creating a firmware update to support legacy with those models. Not sure why it isn't being deployed with UEFI.
