I am seeing event IDs 24 ("insufficient disk space on volume to grow shadow
copy storage") and 35 ("shadow copies aborted because the shadow copy
storage failed to grow").Here's the thing - this is a database backup drive (i.e, where scheduled backup .BAK versions of the db are written to, as well as the TRN logs). And it's really really tight on space (as in: 26G of 1.4TB free). While I wait to hear back from my DBA as to cleanup/checking db model, is there anything I can do? VSSADMIN LIST SHADOWSTORAGE shows 0% allocated and used for that drive, with a max of 300G. Now, we do use EMC Networker as our backup program, and it does use VSS to perform it's backups. And it, too, failed last night (said no such file, when looking for the .BAK - probably because it took so long to make). I'm guessing there's not a lot I can do here, until the drive cleans up space. Yes?
