Are you familiar with the Vortex? http://vortexplans.com/
We have a large Yahoo group (shameless plug) for the vehicle and two on the road (except the owner/builder of the one in NC just passed away after fighting cancer). The plans set includes the electric mods/plans. The vehicle is considered a motorcycle in some states. It is not a simple project and this is probably one reason so few have been built. I have the suspension components and plan to use honeycomb aluminum- fiberglass panel for chassis construction (as opposed to 1/2 plywood of the original plans). Much room for customization/modification as the plan allows much deviation. -=Doug ----- Original Message ----- From: Jeffrey Blamey To: ElectricMotorcycles Sent: Monday, October 22, 2007 12:21 PM Subject: Re: [ElectricMotorcycles] more EM pics on Flickr Forgot to mention on the three wheeler I am planning to use two PMG-132s as unsprung weight on the rear drive wheel assembly, 40 hp @ 44 lbs. I love the pancake motors. I know some of you would be going with the ADC, it is still a viable option, depends on my money situation when the build commences. BTW: I like the looks of the chassis-work on this 3 wheeler from the Austin makers faire. Any contact info on the builder? Jeff
