Its not a terrible idea, it's just time consuming to set up, and a bit of a hassle to deal with the connectors for a high powered system. You all don't have to say "I told you so," as I kind of knew what I was expecting. It's nice to have the advantages after the fact, but I wouldn't do it again. It was a fun experiment. Isn't that what we are all here to do? Experiment and learn something? I also put a Logisystem controller on the bike and made some other changes. I'm very pleased with the controller.
