Hi Everyone, There will be an electrathon race in Titusville May 5th. If you have not sent he electrathons run, it is a really fun event. They are a single passenger, light-weight vehicle that is designed for endurance, not necessarily speed. Please add it to your calendar, I will post it to the website later today. I think it would be great if we could go out and support these students at the event. See you there.

Electrathon, that is. The insurance papers are in hand and everything is set for us to run our event on Saturday, May 5th at Brevard Community College, Titusville campus. We will be running on the same parking lot as we did in November and the course will likely be the same or very similar. This proved to be a very "racey" course last time and, yet, the surface was surprisingly easy on tires. Since we are running late in the season this year, we have moved the first race start-time up an hour and shortened the break between to 90 minutes (formerly 2 hrs.) This way we can conclude the event before the heat of the day reaches its peak. The first race will go at 10:00 AM; the second at 12:30 PM. I should have the course set up and ready by 8:00 AM. For those who have not been here before, I suggest going online to www.mapquest.com and get directions to the BCC Titusville campus. The address is: Brevard Community College 1311 North US 1 Titusville, FL 32796 The entrance is diagonally across the road from Temple Baptist Church; the campus is right next door to Parrish Medical Center. Both are easy landmarks to find.
