Here below is the schedule of events with Chelsea Sexton this weekend in
Miami.  Everyone is welcome at both events, which are open to the public and
free of charge.  All EVs are welcome and encouraged to participate at both
events; the more the merrier!

Friday, April 11

Miami City Hall
3500 Pan American Drive
Miami, FL 33133

5:00-6:45pm:  Electric car Ride 'n Drive demonstrations in front of Miami
City Hall with Chelsea Sexton, Miami City Commissioners, City Hall staff,
and the public.  All EVs are welcome and encouraged to participate in this
Ride 'n Drive demonstration.

6:50-7:00pm:  Opening/welcoming remarks by Miami City Commissioner Marc
Sarnoff and David Whitman of Fairchild Tropical Garden.  Inside Miami City
Hall.

7:00-8:30pm:  Showing of the film "Who Killed the Electric Car?".  Inside
Miami City Hall.

8:30-9:00pm:  Question & Answer with Chelsea Sexton, immediately following
the film.  Inside Miami City Hall.


Saturday, April 12

Fairchild Tropical Garden
10901 Old Cutler Road
Coral Gables, FL 33156

There are two entrances to Fairchild Garden, a north entrance and a south
entrance.  You should use the south entrance, which is where the event is
being held.

All electric cars should be in place at Fairchild Garden by 11:00am.

11:30am-12:15pm & 2:15-3:00pm:  Ride 'n Drive demonstrations of electric
cars, outside near the Garden House.  All EVs are welcome and encouraged to
participate in this Ride 'n Drive demo.

12:15-1:00pm:  Presentation by Chelsea Sexton, electric vehicle activist
featured in the award-winning documentary film "Who Killed the Electric
Car?".  In the Corbin Building.

1:00-1:30pm:  Miami-Dade County high school students will be setting up
their research projects for judging, and the judges will be in orientation
sessions.  Good time for a lunch break for us is 1:00-2:00pm.

1:30-3:00pm:  Research Projects Showcase.  Garden House and lawn.
Miami-Dade County high school students competing in the annual Fairchild
Challenge present their innovative research projects in five areas:

Green cuisine
Everglades "skyways" models
Solar inventions, widgets, gizmos
"Dream in Green" school energy audits
Seed germination: Florida native plants

3:00-3:30pm:  Closing ceremony
