For instance, two key, influential lawmakers whose support would be very
helpful to this EV legislative initiative and crucial to winning its
ultimate passage in the House are Rep. Dean Cannon of Winter Park, who is in
line to be the next Speaker, in 2010, and Ellyn Bogdanoff of Fort
Lauderdale, the Majority Whip. The single best way to get legislators
onboard would be for them to hear from their constituents on this, urging
them to support Rep. Hasner's EV legislative initiative, by receiving emails
and letters from citizens in their districts, like our FLEAA members Hugh
Webber in Rep. Cannon's district of Winter Park and Paul Renneisen in Rep.
Bogdanoff's district in Fort Lauderdale. Emails are good, and written
letters are even better. Best would be both, an email followed up by a
written letter, sent to the legislator's district office, not to his or her
Tallahassee office, as they won't be in Tallahassee until March.

We need a lot of help in trying to build political support for this in North
Florida as well, including in the Panhandle, from our members up there.

Thanks,

Charles

Wow Charles, this is amazing! I truly hope that we can start getting support
from our State Reps. and Senators on EVs. I think Hasner's focus on EVs will
help make things happen here FL.

I would encourage all of our members to contact their State Reps and
encourage them to support Hasner in this initiative. You can use the link
below to find out who your Rep is:

Thanks for sending this out Charles!
