Greetings FLEAA,
Someone will get a bargain!  as we have decided to sell our EV VW
Cabriolet.   We are willing to take a big financial loss.      I have an
asking price of $19,000 USD, having spent over $27,000 .  But we will
entertain any reasonable offer.  Why are we selling it?   Simply put, it
does not have enough range for us.  My wife travels back and forth from
Miami to Key Largo (60+ miles).   We are looking for EV solutions that meets
our lifestyle.

pictures to enlarge)

Here are the specs:
16 - 6V Deka batteries = 96V
Z1K-HV Zilla controller + hairball (liquid cooled)
9" NetGain motor with flywheel
1 - 12V alt battery, with IOTA DC-DC charger
New front tires
New Convertible Top
New Struts, Shocks, and Springs
A battery watering system, for the 8 batteries that are under trunk.  This
makes it easy to keep the water at the right level in the batteries.
2 chargers (one for home, one for traveling).  One is 110V/12A = 96VDC
charger   The other is a 220/30A = 96VDC charger....for fast charging.

We get between 30 and 40 miles before need to charge (depending on speed)
and it easily goes above 60 mph.  I have had it up to 70+ mph with little
efforts.  I run it daily on the causeway at 50mph to 60 mph.   But at those
speeds,  we only get the 30 mile range.    We figured out where to put 4
more batteries (under the back seat), but never got around to the upgrade.

Feel free to call me.

P.S.  My wife and I actually negotiate each day on who gets to drive the
car.  It is that much fun to drive.
