Here's an event I'm planning to attend this Saturday.

It would be nice to get a few more EVs there.

Dear Mr. Roddy,

The Focus the Nation Planning Committee is delighted that you will be
participating in this groundbreaking event for our area. To stimulate a high
level of engagement, we would like to give you a clear idea of how we have
envisioned the event as a whole. The overarching theme is the value and
importance of establishing broad cross-sector partnerships for communities
to seize the opportunities of the new economy in order to become truly
sustainable. In addition to the panel discussion, over 20 exhibitors have
asked to be represented in the Main Hall Showcase to take place over lunch
immediately after the panel.

Following the general welcome by the presidents and Boca Raton mayor, a
panel discussion will be conducted on Florida's new economy and energy
future. A number of prominent academics and business leaders in this field
will discuss questions posed to them on these topics. Exhibitors are
expected to attend and participate in this part of the program. Some of the
questions will revolve around the following broad areas:

. In terms of sustainable development today, which and for what
reason do you consider to be the most promising careers and job
opportunities?

. How can academia, business, and government work together as a
community to reduce our ecological footprint, advocate for policy change,
become more equitable, and develop sustainable business and employment
opportunities?

. Which are some of the more successful solutions currently being
implemented to make businesses, institutions, and communities more energy
efficient and carbon neutral, more equitable, and more prosperous?

Once the discussions have run their course, the audience will be given an
opportunity to ask more specific questions of the panel. The showcase and
lunch that will follow will provide an opportunity for people to connect and
build relationships intended to initiate collaborative action in education,
business, and government leading to a more prosperous and sustainable future
for our community.

Attached you will find the program detailing the day's activities. The
event will be held in the Barry Kaye College of Business at the FAU Boca
Raton campus. Please click on the link for directions
