Hi Fran,
Well, I have raced motorcycles since '94, and I have been a professional
motorcycle racer for 7 years. My main dicipline was road racing, but I have
also done some drag racing, and did a lot of training in the dirt. I recently
started turning my attention to EVs. I am bringing my resouces, some sponsors,
and my riding ability from my ICE days and trying to build a bike that will
compete at the levels I am used to. I am also working w a company to test their
motor for them at the track, to push it to its limit beyond what the average
customer would do. I've got a lot of other EV projects working, and each one
has a goal to further the EV world and to educate the public about all the
possibilities of EVs. I've decided that it is my time to give back. If I can
use my racing past and future to help promote EVs, then I will be lucky to have
the opportunity.
I've got a couple of websites I've been working on again. I haven't
updated/maintained in a while due to lack of time, but if you want to get a
general idea of my past racing you can check out

Yes, the post from Michael was so well written and complete with relevant
websites. Thanks, Michael, for being a good resource for all of us.
Jay, I must have missed our learning about your riding/racing. Can you post
info either to me or to FLEAA about what you are doing? Sounds interesting.
