Hi Trent, Sorry for the delay in getting back you. I am currently at TechEd. The extensions for VS.net only support C#. This is a bit of a shame and hopefully this will be addressed in the Orcas release. But for now your best bet is to a) create your webparts in C# using the templates and convert them over. or b) use my blog post that i wrote for the beta 2 release: http://ruskydotnet.blogspot.com/2006/05/howto-custom-webpart-development-in_29.html
