To change the font on all web parts, change the "ms-WPBody" class in the css of 
either the theme that you are using, or in the built-in core.css

This sounds more like a CSS issue than anything else.  In fact if
you're writing your own web parts you can simply put your own class
around the elements you want to change and add those to the css if you
don't want to effect OOTB web parts.
