Hi there, I've got a potential upcoming project and have been thinking about the technicalities with deploying a Sharepoint site with people who need to access it around the world. I have recommended a single site admin as per guidances on MSDN and well as other white papers, the company would need to make sure that there is a WAN rather than a LAN set up in their IT infrastructure too. I wanted to know what else I should be thinking of? Of course the usual AD, profiling, targetting audiences will come into play. I'm fairly confident on content, design and architecture (still learning, lol!). In particular, how is it best to have a secure SP site as a HTTPs (Intranet being accessed through Internet without the use of TS) Any help and useful tips will be great.
