Unfortunately, to use the iPhone SDK you need a Mac, something I'll be trying to address myself over the coming months. Why? Because it's a very large, ready built, user market (> 20 million if you include iPod Touch) most of whom will be very keen to install cheap functional software for their beloved device. And Apple take care of the marketing, hosting, distribution, billing and updating. Compelling from a developer's point of view. There is no way you could have used one to arrive at that conclusion. The Killer Feature(tm) for the device is the browser on it - it is absolutely on par with a desktop browser (except no flash, sl, or java) (so much so that it is pretty annoying when sites like www.news.com.au<http://www.news.com.au> launch a cut down 'iphone optimised' version of their site). This jury is still out on the on screen keyboard. It is definitely 1000 times better than my imate Jamin' - but I am not sure if it is as good as the blackjack.
